“Focusing on the flexibility of blood vessels throughout the body to prevent the severe threat of paralysis”
This program is specifically designed to check for "degeneration and blockage of blood vessels," including both peripheral and cerebral blood vessels. Highlighted tests tailored for this group include the Ankle-Brachial Index / Cardio-Ankle Vascular Index (ABI/CAVI) to assess arterial stiffness and performance, and an ultrasound of the neck arteries (Doppler carotid artery).
Suitable for
- High-risk groups with chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and high blood lipids. (These diseases often cause blood vessels throughout the body to degenerate and stiffen faster than normal. The ABI/CAVI test excellently evaluates arterial flexibility.)
- Smokers, as smoking is a primary factor that damages blood vessel walls.
- Individuals concerned about cerebral artery stenosis (narrowing of the brain's blood vessels), which is a major cause of paralysis and stroke. (A Doppler carotid artery ultrasound helps screen this risk directly, as it examines the main arteries supplying blood to the brain.)
Preparation before the health check-up
- Fast from food and beverages for 8 hours prior to the check-up (drinking plain water is allowed).
