Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease Vaccine

• The Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease vaccine (caused by Enterovirus 71: EV71) is suitable for children aged 6 months to 5 years. It is administered in 2 doses, one month apart.
• Children who have already had Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease can still be vaccinated, but it should be done one month after recovery.
• Children with underlying health conditions or drug allergies should consult a pediatrician before receiving the vaccine.
