Fire and Evacuation Drill

On 17 November 2023, Khon Kaen Ram Hospital held its annual fire and evacuation drill.

The exercise followed the hospital's fire safety policies and standards.

The drill simulated a fire spreading beyond control, prompting an announcement to evacuate patients to an assembly point.

Executives, physicians, nurses, and staff followed the procedures, focusing on safe evacuation and proper assistance for patients.

The exercise aimed to build confidence among staff and service users in the event of a real emergency.

Khon Kaen Municipality provided a fire engine and firefighting personnel

for the drill. Experienced personnel from Kut Nam Sai Subdistrict Municipality in Nam Phong District helped plan and observe the exercise

and evaluate its results.
