Fire and Evacuation Drill

On 13 December 2019, Khon Kaen Ram Hospital conducted its annual fire and evacuation drill in accordance with its fire safety policies and standards.

The drill simulated a fire that could no longer be controlled, prompting an announcement to evacuate patients to an assembly point so that physicians, nurses, and staff could practice the procedures.

The team focused on moving and assisting patients safely and correctly. The exercise was designed to build confidence among staff and service users and enable a quick, safe response in a real emergency.

The Khon Kaen Municipality Disaster Prevention and Mitigation team observed the exercise and brought a fire engine and firefighters to join hospital staff in the drill.
