Colorectal cancer is becoming increasingly common in Thailand, currently ranking as the 3rd most common cancer in men and the 5th in women. While most cases occur in patients over 50, there is a rising trend among younger individuals, particularly those living in urban areas.

Factors contributing to this rise include shifts toward Western-style diets, environmental toxins in food and air, high stress levels, and a lack of exercise, all of which weaken the body’s immune system.
